It's never going to happen. There's no logical explanation for them not to do the movie, but we know why it will never see the light of day. It's sad and truly disgusting.

They want to do it, but they just don't know how to market it :yeshrug:.

MARVEL SUPERHERO Black Panther is set to come to the big screen and top black British stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Idris Elba have been tipped to play the character with extraordinary powers.

Reports suggest the two actors, along with American stars Chadwick Boseman and Michael B Jordan, are in line for the leading role in Black Panther.

Chiwetel may be the favourite for the part considering how high his stock has risen following the release of Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave in which he plays a free man kidnapped into slavery.

The role has landed him an Oscar nomination for best actor.

Other reports indicate Boseman could be the best-suited for the part due to his status as a young, up and coming actor.

Meanwhile, Elba is already a fixture in the Marvel universe having starred in the Thor films as Heimdall.

Black Panther has not yet been given an official release date, but it is widely rumoured the story of T’Challa, who is the alter ego of Black Panther, will come out to superhero movie fans.

'Get On Up' Star Chadwick Boseman Performs James Brown's 'Man's World' on Letterman (Video)

Chadwick Boseman stars as the Wakanda-born superhero in the film, slated for release in 2017

Marvel unveiled a first-look poster for its upcoming “Black Panther” film on Tuesday at a special event for press and fans.

The ferocious superhero, who also goes by T'Challa, is shown in a black jumpsuit with his trademark razor-sharp claws and tribal necklace. The character is not only billed as a genius and an expert acrobat, but also the leader of the African nation Wakanda.

“It's about how this isolationist country of Wakanda needs to meet the world,” explained Marvel's Kevin Feige at the Marvel event on Tuesday.

The hero will be played by rising star Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing Jackie Robinson in “42” and James Brown in “Get On Up.” He joined Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr. and Captain America's Chris Evans on stage Tuesday, where it was revealed he would appear alongside them in 2016's “Captain America: Civil War.”

“I'm blessed to be part of this Marvel Universe and I look forward to making magic together,” said Boseman.

Black Panther, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, debuted in a 1966 issue of “Fantastic Four,” but this marks his first appearance on the big screen.

“Black Panther” is slated for release on Nov. 3, 2017.
