For whatever reason I never pictured Africa being developed
Yes I know it's a continent with many countries
I just imagined it with only a handful of people with aids living in shacks
I thought it was just basically wild animals and shyt
Are we programmed to think that way?

I should caution that these are clusters of development in a big continent but it's fair to ask why these places are so underrepresented on tv considering you could say the same about china etc.

As a Morrocan, I can tell you Africa is very beautiful and is more than what they display on TV. Out of countries on that list, Cote D'Ivoire in my opinion is the most amazing, literally the Paris of Africa, and the women are some of the biggest freaks!!

The media is largely concerned with negative reporting in Africa... there is no balanced representation of the continent. I would have people thinking that the US is fukked up if every time I reported from there I got footage from Detroit only. They always go to slums and remote villages, never the other side.

Its far from that , funny enough the way i learned about it was when i got my first job out of high school as a security officer i used to work with some dudes from Ghana and they'd crack jokes about american not being shyt etc etc and i would hitttem with the you coming from Africa breh and i remember dude straight up laughed at me like what you think we living in huts out there?

Next day dude came back with a photo album, showing like property his family owned, beautiful beautiful one and two family homes etc pics of night clubs and all that, i mean i know they didnt live in huts but they was living nice and of course the prices were like ridiculously low you could have a two family house built from scratch for like $45k , he would tell me for the prices people pay for houses out here in shytty neighborhoods he could have a mini mansion out there


but of course american media would have think they living out there being chased by lions n shyt

lol another funny thing bout that dude told me in his whole life only time he seen a wild animal was at the zoo

They speak English there. Lagos Nigeria is the financial center, so I'll be going there. You may like it more in Angola though if you're willing to learn Portuguese. The women are hotter over there. Luanda is angolas financial center
