A lot of these athletes man, they just have no sense of professionalism , they are so detached from reality and having to experience the consequences of what they do or say. SMH
It's not just athletes. It's people in general, we have people in here caping for them in here and it reflects on they character.

I know a lot of people with this "don't take shyt from nobody" unprofessional ass mentality.

Allen Iverson Hit Casino Hard Before Blowing Off BIG3 Game
EXCLUSIVE

Allen Iverson was gambling in a Chicago area casino hours before he blew off a BIG3 basketball league game in Dallas over the weekend ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Iverson was first spotted at the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, IL on Saturday night into early Sunday morning. One witness says AI was still in the building at 3 AM.

The issue ... Iverson -- who's the coach and captain of the 3's Company team -- was supposed to be in Dallas to play Team Power but he never showed up.

Hours later, Iverson surfaced at the Sugar Factory restaurant (around 10 PM on Sunday -- wearing the same clothes he'd been wearing at the casino in the days before. Fans who recognized him asked for photos, but he refused.

The restaurant is 2 miles from the casino.

The BIG3 has launched an investigation into the situation.

Iverson had been frequenting the casino last week -- and had been gambling with a huge stack of chips at the roulette table.

Earlier in the month, he was spotted at another casino in Philadelphia.

Attempts to reach Iverson were unsuccessful.

That last image is one of a man who has succumbed to something that wasn't worth it.

A loud minority of kids who never worked is probably what that is, not the majority of adults who work for a living.

That's not how business works... That's hella casual on some my presence is a present bullshyt. It's a job.. do it or :camby:
People can say stanning (I'm not even a fan all like that tho anymore).....but it's just reality. AI has been dodging responsibility for YEARS......why would him as a retiree be different today:francis:. A lot of these posters are angry because he did it to a breh, Cube, but cube is not above reproach to AI's work ethic. AI is old, he signed on to play but can't really all that well now and his mo is to always skip out on a practice or game or two in whatever league he gets involved in. When he played overseas (I think he did anyway)....Im sure he did all sorts of shyt that they tolerated understanding who he is. Yet....at the beginning of this summer did our eyes light up knowing AI was goin to be involved in big3....yep, did we tune in to see him play and did he, yep.....was him attaching his name to the league beneficial to Cube and the league, yep......is this controversy now bringin more eyes and headlines to the big3 basketball brand, yep......actually it's bringing more headlines than him actually playing weakly as an old man......point is AI being involved in a win however you spin it...........coli posters wanna write him up like an employee at Carls Jr.....but he ain't that. He's a headlining basketball rockstar...maybe not as big a draw but bigger than most that cube can find in retirement. He is who he is ....take the good (which majority of it is) wit the bad (missing a game or appearance). Cube league needs attention and AI one way or another got him that.

All you coli shift managers can:camby:

AI caked up and blows off work like a real nikkas dream and nikkas:umad:

Cube needs to bring in another star and cut ties with Iverson, immediately.

Can't have this type of shyt happening just as the product is gaining steam.

Bring in T-Mac, Sprewell, etc.

They can also bring in Baron Davis.

Kobe and Duncan .....:wow:

Cube needs to pay him more under the table to ride this innaugeral season out, then give him his last check when he re-retires at the end of this season.
The brand doesn't need the TMZ drama.

Next season, KG and some new big names can become the face.
Occocinco wanted to play... He should consider having a single team be former NFL guys as a test run. Lavar Ball could coach it (as a coach and a retired NFL player himself). I'm sure they can find 4 more ex-nfl players that hoop if they wanted.
Just have it be an expansion team the same way the NBA is all american teams but later added 1 canadian team (Toronto Raptors) like fk it.

don't need to explain shyt when you don't move right. You call your boss if something important happens and you can't be at work.
You aren't having an emergency when you are at a casino before your missed appointment.

They apparently had a 15k crowd at their last stop...if that's actually true then they might have something on their hands that could be sustainable.

my boy was pissed he took both of his sons to see it in Dallas and they all had Iverson throwback jersey's on ......

cause they originally in philly and he was a fan back in the day....

I speculated to my boy...maybe Cube ain't paying brothers fairly? :patrice:

Cube has had some questionable business practices...but I kinda doubt this since this League had some heavy sponsorship and backing

or maybe Iverson is on some dumb shyt ..........

Almost time to throw this league in the bushes. Great idea. Looking like the execution isn't gonna be able to sustain over a long period of time though. Old players getting non-contact injuries, not showing up, openly stating they don't care, etc. Maybe somebody can revisit the idea, repackage or rebrand it, and try again at a later time.
