Cam is and is going to end up better than all of these Year 2 QBs anyway.
Drama free? Based on what? The media creating a story out of nothing just for ratings? Calling RG3 a Diva is a major exaggeration and is based on nothing.
More durable? Did you see the ridiculous situations RG3 was getting put in by the coaches? It's a miracle that he only missed one full game. Most other QBs wouldn't have lasted too long either.
And like I mentioned before, Luck was playing in a weak division.
The numbers don't lie. But that's your opinion so it is what it is.
Close thread. They don't hear don't yall tho.
I'm rolling w/Luck but y'all saying RG3 is cool w/me
Luck will last longer in the NFL...pure drop back passer.
He also had more TD's than RG3 and because of his style of play his stats will always be better than RG3
So it took Luck 300+ more attempts to get only 3 more passing TDs than RG3
but he's better huh
Like I said, you're a Redskins fan incapable of having an unbiased discussion on RG3. I get it. The excuse making & outright denial in your post is staggering though. RG3 is an attention whore and even if you believe the media has created every RG3 story, how many media created stories has Luck been involved with? I see you didn't even attempt to discuss the single read, play action dominated Skins offense RG3 plays in or will you deny that he plays in that offense too?
AFC South >> NFC East. Only gimmie in the AFC South is Jacksonville, last yr in the NFC East Philly was basically a gimmie, the Cowboys always disappoint and the Giants, who were mediocre last yr.
@Meet The Sniper
Of course he's gonna pass more man... read @AVXL's posts.
Luck AVERAGED 13 more passes A GAME than RG3. Of course he'll have more INTs than RG3 & make more mistakes, but RG3 played in a more conservative, safer offense. I prefer my QBs to be able to read through their progressions and survey the field on a regular basis. RG3 hasn't done that yet, Luck has.
the nfc east wasnt so hot last year if you wanna go the division route
both rg3 and his dad blamed shanahan for the knee injury. and his bytchass complained through the media that he should be playing in the pre-season. when shanahan wanted him to be cleared first.....
at people still using the "he was asked to do more" excuse for Luck. If he is better than RGIII, as you all are asserting, then that should still be apparent even while being asked to do more. Being asked to do more, in and of itself, doesn't make you better. You have to actually perform at a comparable or superior level while being asked to do more for that to be brought into play. Luck didn't do that. I am pretty sure RGIII could have managed 3 more TDs, 1100 more yds, and 13% lower completion % if asked to throw 200+ more times. RGIII had a higher TD% and lower INT % and avg. more Y/A. That's just passing. RGIII, even coming off an injury, is clearly the better runner. RGIII had a better running game, that he played a pretty big part in BTW. Morris >>> any of Luck's RBs. However, Wayne >>> any of RGIIIs receivers. So let's not act like he had no help.
I guess you didn't watch the playoff game against the Skins last year huh?
I like RG3 but Luck is in the mode of a classic all pro QB and first season says he is well on his way to being that type of player.
RG3 is definitely at least talented as Luck and probably more so. Hard choice to make.
The Giants and Cowboys were all playoff caliber teams. The Eagles before Vick got injured weren't exactly stinking it up.
The RG3 hate on this site is absurd or yall are incapable of not parroting whatever the latest meme/ talking point is.
RG3 got hurt last year. It happens in football. It could have been Kaep or Russy just as easily. It could've been any QB.
Luck doesnt even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as RG3.
