I recently graduated with a History degree and immediately got a job () doing archival work. I want to get my MLIS degree with an emphasis on archiving and become a consultant, or start a business building archives for high end clients and companies.
Anyone here create exhibits, do archival work, or anything else in the public history field? I wanna know what obstacles you've run into working in the public/private sectors. I'm good with people and networking (despite my coli post history), so I'm not worried about a specialized field and job opportunities.
Here's something for your time and a guaranteed thread flop
