Any rhyme or reason as to why WWE’s stock is so high?

They've diversified their revenue streams and have maximized their ability to suck their niche audience dry, even if the total number of fans consuming shrinks, along with the new TV deal benefitting from networks clinging to anything remotely sustainable they can get.

WWE had a record revenue of $800 million in 2017. The profit of $75 million surpasses the attitude era level high of 1999-2000 $68 million. 2018 will assuredly surpass the revenue high & profits because of greatest royal rumble. The Network is at 1.5 million average bringing the revenue now to what PPVs brought in. That’s before the tv deal
$68 M in 1999/2000 is ~$100M now, so no, 2017 wasn't as profitable as 1999/2000 was.

  • Saudi investment
  • Tampering with wall street numbers (a friend for a friend:sas2:)
  • Cable dying and looking at WWE to bail them out since "redneck anime"
The shyt seems wild fishy but if I were yall, I would be paying attention to shyt that's going to hit the fan in the upcoming months. Trust it's all smoke and mirrors :sas1:.

‘Inflation’ is a qualifier. Their biggest year is 2017.

It's spin.

Inflation has to be accounted for when going over revenue/profit figures in comparison to past ones. Use common sense.

Market valuation is off, only thing I see.
Same reason Netflix's stock is high, there is a terrible bubble happening and its going to burst.

Anyone here own WWE stock? I'm sure I remember seeing some people mention that they have shares here before. For someone that knows nothing about the stock market, what would be the safest way to purchase some shares of WWE stock? Like, who would I go through?

On their own site they mention this:
http://corporate.wwe.com/investors/ir-resources/how-to-invest-in-wwe

What service or system would you go through to buy some stock?
