Just say Christmas isn't a Christian holiday, or whatever you want to say and be done with it. I'm just not going to let a silly comment like "gift giving is a pagan ritual" go unchecked. Especially not when the most commonly known Christian scripture is John 3:16.

It is Not so much about the actual day of his birth, but a time to celebrate him; martin luther king day doesnt fall on his birthday, but we still celebrate it. The three wisemen bore gifts regardless of the day, and consequently that is why i give gifts. Out of all the civilizations on this here little rock we call home, you can find a non-Christian holiday for every day, even matching the catholics who dedicate almost every day of the year to a different saint.
And as a post note, if you dont want to buy your mama and kids anything, at least buy the orphans something. Its a time that all kids love, and regardless of how you dont care, kids care. Donate some toys, and do it for the smile they will have on that frosty morn of December twenty-fifth.
