I just got a job last month. So, I have no time and don't know where to meet people. Plus, all the people at my job are in their 40's and 50's.

Youre lying to yourself. You went from not having time to hang to not having people to hang with.

Be honest with yourself first.

If you want friends then you should be looking for people who share the same type of interests as you. If your about business then go meet people at business seminars and places where business is discussed. Don't be about business and hanging in sports bars cheering for teams you couldn't care less about or doing some things that don't really interest you

shyt's overrated

I like people who are smart/talented/driven/serious... seems hard to find such people around here who don't have kids. Back in NYC all my single friends were ambitious etc... down here all they want to do is get drunk and chase sex. Im over that shyt.

U gotta find people with similar interests and aspirations. I have found a few decent people through Meetup. I feel like I would find more if I engageed more in my interests with other people (weightlifting and motorcycles)
