All right you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! Starz has officially greenlit the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film franchise "The Evil Dead" which will be titled "Ash Vs. Evil Dead" and reteam the original filmmakers, director Sam Raimi, producer Rob Tapert and star Bruce Campbell.

Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as wisecracking hero Ash in 10 half-hour episodes which will air sometime in 2015. This comes on the heels of his seconds-long cameo at the tail end of the 2013 remake, and the rumblings from this summer's Comic-Con that the long-planned follow-up to 1993's Army of Darkness would be a show rather than a movie.

Here's the synopsis for the series: Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its "Evil" grip.

"Starz first worked with Sam and Rob on 'Spartacus,' and we are thrilled to be back in business with them," said Carmi Zlotnik, Managing Director of Starz. "With Sam writing and directing and Bruce Campbell returning to the screen, we are certain the show will give Evil Dead fans around the world the fix they’ve been craving."

"Evil Dead has always been a blast. Bruce, Rob, and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the next chapter in Ash’s lame, but heroic saga. With his chainsaw arm and his 'boomstick,' Ash is back to kick some monster butt. And brother, this time there’s a truckload of it," said Sam Raimi.

"I'm really excited to bring this series to the Evil Dead fans worldwide - it's going to be everything they have been clamoring for: serious deadite ass-kicking and plenty of outrageous humor," said Bruce Campbell.

Raimi will direct the first episode. "Ash Vs. Evil Dead" was written by Sam Raimi, Ivan Raimi and Tom Spezialy. Raimi will also serve as executive producer, along with Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell. Ivan Raimi will co-executive Produce and Aaron Lam will serve as producer.

Yeah mos def. Just don't want people coming in here thinking it's a movie cause you know how it gets in here.

Man, this is gonna be huge...they must have thrown Raimi and Campbell some CRAZY money to do this because they were fighting this for decades

Well he'd been writing "Evil Dead 4" with his brother for years remember? He talked about it when the remake came out. He wanted to have the remake going as one thing and Evil Dead with Ash going as another thing and then eventually have the worlds collide but I think Bruce Campbell let the cat out of the bag that it would probably work better as a tv show and then here we go.

Lol you gotta let that remake hate go breh lol. He clearly didn't have a problem with it: He produced it, executive produced it, handpicked the director, etc. He don't give a damn, I don't give a fukk

It's a nasty little movie and it's obvious he had a hand in its nastiness
