I agree with you 100% but black women have used the media and other platforms for decades to stereotype and deride black men.
It's only so many times someone can hear or read that they hate themselves, are gay, criminals, uneducated, "down low," ect. from their own before they hit back.
Now you have this eye-for-an-eye thing going.
Vocal minority on both sides kicking up dust but this kind of thing has been brewing for awhile.

And I hate both sides. Black women are black men's only allies and to go on TV to buck dance is down low and despicable, I judge people on a person by person basis. If you keep meeting black men that are on the down low, uneducated, or criminals chances are it's something wrong with you not them.

Personally, I like to watch people in high places fall. If this is a White women, or an Asian woman, I would joke about it, and have a good laugh.
But the fact that its a Black woman, a successful Black woman, a well-connect Black woman, who was too fukking stupid to just take her million dollar salary (plus bonuses), marry a nice equally successful Black man, live an enjoyable upper class life, and be a great role model for young Black girls who don't have enough wealthy role models, is what makes me angry at her. I don't care about wealthy women of other races or ethnicities, just women (and men) of my own race and ethnicity.
She didn't just fail herself and her parents. (I hope her dumbass didn't have kids.)
She also failed Black girls who may have held her in high-esteem.
As a successful Black person, whether you like it or not, you also double as a role model.
And your failures will be as amplified as your successes.
