In the Silver Lining
was mandatory read in school in i think 7th grade?

very interesting read.

SOMA haha really that book is how we are presntly livin our lives to a certain extent

:patrice: :lupe: ..interesting. you must have went to school in liberal state or city ... I only read it 12th grade year in my AP English class... the fact that you were 12 or 13 reading about orgies alone would have had parents in my school district flying across the roof to get that book banned... or pushed to a higher grade

the crazy thing is

we would read that book in class outloud all day everyday in english class till we finished the entire book..

i remeber thinkin to myself this subject matter is pretty strong for such a young audience

There were many books read in school that weren't for younger audiences. Some books were about murder, rape, suicide, incest. shyt I was reading Stephen King Novels in first grade.
