As I return from Brazil from my World Cup trip I am seriously reevaluating my life and the toxic culture the USA provides. Traveling and experiencing different cultures is the best way to remove the ignorance from yourself. When I say travel, I do not mean going to a country and staying on an all inclusive resort.....totally engrossing yourself with people who grew up with a different perspective from you is such a different experience. With that being said, we don't need this to become like the last World Cup thread with people talking about how bad Brazil is. If you don't like traveling outside of the Western World, you should avoid threads like this.

So let me start this by saying I really did not plan to go to Brazil during this time. I really had no interest in soccer and only went because a friend of mine canceled on me for Brazil carnival. I had people i knew that were in the different cities I was in (Salvador and Rio) but basically went alone.

Women: Before I went to Brazil I heard all the rumors about the women down there being loose and loving sex. I didn't quite believe it because in my experience the people who say stuff like this are usually paying for sex. But I was not prepared for the way the women of Brazil are. It could be because my game wasn't good enough...but I found the women more conservative than the woman here in the US. I need to give a +rep to @Malta at some point because his suggestions to get on Brazil cupid (why the fukk are so many fine Brazilians on there) and tinder before touching down in the country became my bread and butter. But in general I found, at least for me, that you need to meet them and make them feel comfortable with you before you can eat....which could take up to 2 meetings (you need to not be socially awkward and know how to interact with females). The woman are a lot more approachable than in the US though...no matter how attractive.

Cities: I only went to 2 cities (Salvador and Rio), I think Salvador is a good city.....has more of an South American feel and is probably a better place to settle down than Rio....but Rio was where it was at. It just had more stuff to do, better parties, and was just overall more livelier than Salvador. It might not even be worth going to Salvador if you don't know Portuguese, it felt like almost nobody there speaks English (I speak some Portuguese) Maybe somebody else who has been to Brazil can give a better comparison to the cities.

People: Anybody who travels to non Western countries can tell you that the people are a lot warmer than here in the US. Brazil is no exception.....they make you feel like you are at home and are a lot more caring. You actually realize how rude you are when interacting with other cultures.

Going during a special event: I will say that World Cup was a slight sausage fest. If you are only going for women, it might be best to avoid a World Cup/Olympics type event unless you are good at meeting women. As i mentioned before I didn't like soccer, but being at this event was just unreal. The overall energy from people all over the world supporting their countries, the game watch parties on the beach, the chants...I just can't describe how amazing it was to witness. If I knew it was going to be as great as it turned out to be, I would of budgeted to stay for the entire world cup. The atmosphere was just that special.

So as I mentioned above, I am evaluating my life seriously. There has to be more to life than this work work work and only out for self culture that I grew up in here in the US. What is really the point in living around people who only tolerate u living here, working until you are almost 70, getting very little vacation time, dealing with the trash of women this country has to offer...its just seeming very blah to me right now. I did just return yesterday so it could just be my initial off of vacation depression....but right now I feel like I am just wasting my years living in a subpar country (quality of life wise....employment wise the US has been good to me)

Well enough of my rant....Who else has anything to say about World Cup, or Brazil in general? I would like to hear other people opinions. I am seriously considering returning in a few months.

@Type Username Here @chefmate7days and I tried to tell dudes before that the average woman in Brazil is pretty much conservative and can be a bit shy/sheltered but these dudes on here watch pornos and believe every Brazilian chick is down to have an orgy on the beach with strangers. Also, there are so many bad chicks on Brazilcupid cause women outnumber men in Rio, so dudes can have their cake and eat it too. Also, did you notice that chicks could be feeling you, staring at you, but then the second you look at them to make eye contact they look away?

You've taken the red pill my dude, that feeling just doesn't go away ever, you have that explorers DNA in you, back in the day we would have been on ships trying to find new lands. Some people have that in them, some people dont, the second you awaken that gene in you it's hard to go back. I've had postpartum depression from Brazil & Colombia for damn near a decade. Once you start traveling and seeing the laid back lifestyle other people in the world have you end up coming back like :ld: "Really, I work 40 hours a week for this shyt?"

Man my....they sheltered as hell. Just a different culture. I don't think they even really move out of their parents house until they are married usually.

Example: I met this girl and she basically wanted our first meeting to be with her friends.....and then the second with her friends as well. After that second meeting she finally felt comfortable enough to see me alone and I thought ok I'm in there now.......NOPE. Tried to get her back to my room on the low but she wasn't having it. Finally on the next meeting, after spending the whole day with her......I got her to my room. So before I am bout to hit she is shaking profusely. I ask her if she is nervous and she tells me yes.

A bytch you meet in Miami would have ur dikk in her mouth before you knew what was happening.

Can you give me your impressions of Salvador vs Rio?

The majority are sheltered as fukk in my experience but that's also why I liked them so much, they were more feminine than American women to me as well. They just seemed more like what a women should be, polite, sweet, sheltered, lady like etc. It's funny though cause Colombian chicks are even more sheltered, those broads may as well still be attached to their moms titties, Brazilian women are liberal compared to them :russ:

They look and carry themselves so much better than American women, dudes just have no idea until they see it.

Can you give me your impressions of Salvador vs Rio?

I loved Salvador, it's just a much slower pace, I spoke semi decent Portuguese at the time so I guess that helped, and when I couldn't keep up the woman I was with (Brazilian) would be my mouthpiece for me and translate or interpret for me. I'm a very laid back dude and while I never visited Sao Paolo I'd imagine it's pace would be a bit much for me, which is funny cause I grew up in NYC. What may have swayed my opinion on the whole Rio / Salvador thing is that I met the only other women I've ever loved in my life (outside of my lady) @ a college a couple hours outside of Salvador, so I guess Im biased in that I include her in how I view the city. I'd probably love Rio just as much if I had met her there and spent my time with her there instead.

maybe you don't have much game lol... or went to the wrong spots

nah i'm not gonna throw salt.. i'm just fukking with you

but seriously.. my boy went to brazil 3 times... had bytches coming over to cook him food... literal orgy's going on... bytches still on his fb to this day like, when you coming baaaaaaaaaaaaaack..

your first mistake was going during any major event. you don't even want to go during peak season which is basically march to sept... you want to be in there low key.. only black dude around and the rare tourist they see

your boy was smart in telling you about brazil cupid and tinder.. that shyt should have been set up months in advance.. i'm talking to a brazilian out there since march and i'm not even going until oct time.. best believe her and i know what's about to go down when i step in the door... meanwhile my boy got his team of ladies, to bring all their friends when we come too.. how'd he grab them up the first first time?? just hitting the clubs, dancing with them, trying to spit game off the translator app.. normal stupid shyt

but the main thing was you going during world cup... there's toooooooooo many tourist there... you going to the seafood buffet at high noon brother...
