I have having this argument with a friend of mine today...

I lamented the fact that although Drake is a capable spitter, he's only ever good for 1 or 2 verses.

I don't think Drake has enough to say to put together an entire rap album these days..Singing is his way to fill the album up...You can sing something in 30 seconds that would only take 5 seconds to say...

I dunno..I'm skeptical of the Jew's abilities:manny:

He's done it before, don't see why he couldn't do it again. Comeback Season and Room for Improvement.

The sing/rap stuff is what got him popular commercially so it makes sense that he'd stick with what works. Don't see any indication that he can't just rap anymore, though.

he's a capable rapper but I couldnt listen to an entire Drake rap album considering his subject matter & perspective

he needs to make an album full of songs like Connect, Furthest thing, Cameras, Come Thru, etc.
