Can you be pro-black and pro-police at the same time?

Trevor Noah talked about this on the daily show.

I agree...we need laws and order to have a working society. But if pro-black and anti-police are being used in the same breath....what does that say about our police forces?



Please remember...once upon a time...there were NO black cops.


Is the us police essentially a white supremacist organization and anti-black by nature?

Yeah, I think you can. As long as you realize that the police needs massive reform and complete destruction of this blue line and that's looking at the end result of said reform.

There's so many clear issues with the force that must be addressed from age restrictions on becoming a cop (must be 25 and up) and must only police in the district you live in.

BUT until that sort of change comes, you can't believe in the police because they're corrupt at the core.

I'm saying that as someone who has police in the family.

You don't have to be Anti-police period to be Pro-police reform.

This is a problem with the police, not with black people. Black people aren't the ones who need fixing.

In order for their to BE police, they MUST be reformed. Entirely. They've been turned into a paramilitary force that thinks it's in an actual active "War" for decades - they think, interact and react like occupying soldiers. No wonder they're starting to be treated like occupying soldiers.

#blacklivesmatter all the fukking way, it has absolutely nothing to do with being Anti-police. These motherfukkers ignoring the responsibility that comes with the great power they hold in their badge and on their hip... THEY are the Anti-police. There will never be an effective, accepted police force until they realise this is THEIR problem.

They aren't here to protect you or I, they are here to keep us where we're supposed to be, which is why we get pulled over at such a disproportionate rate compared to white drivers. They are here for the protection of white people at their core.

Every society needs law and order, but Black Americans cannot currently "support" American policing. It's designed to eradicate us.

There's different kinds of cops but they all get lumped into the same category when shyt hits the fan.

You got the power trip cop
You got the it's just a job cop
You got the I signed up to make a difference cop
You got the rambo super cop
You got the white supremacist who just wanted to shoot minorities legally cop

I've watched cops try to not arrest people and diffuse situations and I've watched cops use excessive force unnecessarily. No one wants to be anti police but it's really a dice roll on which one of those cops you'll end up dealing with but take note that all these cops who end up shooting unarmed black men always have past charges for harassment, excessive force, and etc.
