(I didnt know we're to post this)

I've had long hair and have been getting cornrows for years. I had to cut it about a year ago because I got a job as a correctional officer. I'm currently working somewhere else and I'm trying to grow my hair back.

Well I got my hair braided for the first time , and the back of my head is so tight that little tension bumps popped up in the back of my head/top of my neck.

How do I know how much to trim off back there with clippers , without interfering with hair that I need? Is there a technique?i can't find anything online. I don't want to mess up and look goofy outchea lol

Damn... There is such a thing of having your cornrows too tight. Maybe switch stylists or tell her that bumps appeared due to the tightness, or grow your hair out more before getting it braided so it doesn't need to be so tight.

Oh btw, sorry I didn't answer your question:lolbron:
