Not sure but they are both from/have family in McComb Mississippi.
Dude I knew from college is snoops cousins and his friend is brandy's cousin.

I respect that Fantasia didn't ride the coat tails of her famous cousins to get in the industry. She worked her way up.
I totally see similarities in both the singing styles of K-Ci/ Jo Jo and Fantasia.
A lot of churchy belting and screaming but in a good way of course.
