Wake.
I said it earlier in the thread but I don't even fault you Broncos fans for talking yourself into winning. Last year Panthers were 7-8-1, beat Ryan Lindley in the playoffs and we were talking about how we could go into Seattle and win when we really didn't have much of a chance tbh.

Fact remains Broncos defense has to be next level special on Sunday and even that may not be enough because they got nothing on offense. Just like last year for the Panthers, there's just entirely too much that has to go right for the Broncos to squeeze out a victory. That Bill Barnwell article basically summed up my feelings about this match-up from the very start.

Cuzo wants to give me 7 with the broncos no tie for 500 but I think they about to get blowed out. Ive been winning off car the entire play offs, It'd be dumb to go against that hand but 7 points :patrice:

The thing that Broncos fans don't want to admit is that all their fluke/undeserved wins, much like Seattle last year (GB game comes to mind), came at home. The Super Bowl is not being played in Denver. The Panthers have shown that they travel a lot better than Denver. On the road against a statistically elite defense they carved up Dallas. On the road . The last time Denver played an elite offense away from Colorado they gave up 34 points. Everyone is praising this Denver defense so much while forgetting all of their quality wins (over playoff teams) this year have been at home, in the greatest homefield advantage in sports.

:yeshrug: They acting like the offense wasn't moving on the pats last game. A couple missed throws had that game close.

Pure stupidity. You can use the "a couple missed throws" argument for any football game ever.

The fact of the matter is, the teams that have won super bowls while getting "doubted" at each round (either as underdogs or just not being seen as that good) have been road warriors (like the Ravens who beat the Broncos and Patriots 3 years ago, the Giants who beat the Packers and 49ers 4 years ago, and the Packers who beat the Falcons and Bears 5 years ago. All 6 games were on the road). The Broncos have been artificially inflated by squeaking out close wins at home and are now traveling on the road, where their defense is not as dominant and their exceptional homefield advantage isn't saving them. This silly "keep doubting us" mentality simply does not apply in this scenario. Your team has shown no capacity to be "road warriors"...the last 2 above average offenses you faced on the road put up 27 and 34 points, respectively, on your defense. And now you're facing the NFL's best offense on the road.
