He did that on purpose. I remember he said he wanted off the label, so he threw a bunch of pointless skits on there, and he said the album was just a bunch of demo tracks aside from a few songs. Quik is a weird dude.

Yea he was going through it with the Arista in 2000 but you right I remember him saying that about the Motex skits. Crazy the majority of these songs were just demos he held onto and threw together and still ended up making a damn near classic.

Was listening to this again the other week.

Dope album. Not quite on the level of Safe+Sound or Rhythmalism but maybe his straight up funkiest album. Maybe the best he ever rapped too.

Love the sound of the drums on this.

when i heard him diss smokey robinson....

i knew it had something to do with wateva u do from rhythmalism.....quik showed his raw hide with the production turned it into a groove
