Dubstep is dead while House music going strong for 30+ years

Dubstep has/had that sound that no matter what you did, every song sounded the same because of those drops. Whereas with House, you can almost add any sound to the basic template no matter what the style was from African, Latin,Soul, HipHop, West Indian, Ambient etc...
