12/20/1998:
James Allen of the Chicago Bears rushed 23 times for 163 yards.
12/23/2001:
Corey Dillon of the Cincinnati Bengals rushed 24 times for 127 yards.
10/20/2002:
Fred Taylor of the Jacksonville Jaguars rushed 25 times for 151 yards.
Three guys in a span of 61 games including the playoffs.
During tonight's Giants/Steelers game, the announcers mentioned that Le'Veon Bell is the first player to rush for 100 yards on the Giants this season. So that got me to thinking about which teams have held opposing running backs to less than 100 yards. And inevitably I thought of the Ravens. While it's not a consistent streak...that's some kind of dominance.
(Yes, since I cut date off in late October, I suppose you could call this a bullshyt ESPN stat )
