EBRSO: Woman stole $10,500 from man after offering him sex for cash


BATON ROUGE - Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested a woman accused of stealing more than $10,000 from a man after she offered to have sex with him in exchange for money.

22-year-old Brittany Scott was booked on charges of criminal conspiracy and felony theft after deputies arrested her Friday.

The victim contacted deputies to report that three females had come over to his house unannounced and arranged to have sex with him in exchange for $100. After the victim had undressed, one of the women went into his pants pocket and took the man’s cash. She immediately ran out of the room with $10,500 the man had in his possession, according to EBRSO.

The victim told investigators that he chased after the fleeing women while still naked. He even provided authorities with home surveillance video that supported this claim. The women got into a red 4 door sedan and sped away from the scene in the 5800 block of Satinwood Drive.

When deputies were interviewing Scott, it was revealed that they had targeted the victim because they knew that the man frequently kept large amounts of cash on his person. Deputies said one of the women used some of the stolen money to pay for Scott’s bond and also used it to purchase a vehicle.

Scott also had an active warrant for another theft of goods. She was booked into the parish prison on the above charges.
