I don't know how I feel about having anybody but GRRM know the end game. I hope they don't leak shyt.

I know this might be sacrilegious to say in this thread, but the Ice & Fire world is so fleshed out, with so much backstory and plot and culture and whatnot, that even if he dies I believe someone will be able to step in and wrap up the series without us missing too much.



He's already plotted out all the major events to the end of the story. There are some dedicated fans and very talented writers who could hopefully fit together these pieces in the event he dies writing the final books, most of the story is already complete as it is it's just the smaller details that may not be wrapped up in the particular ways he intended

half of y'all don't read the books anyway so you wouldn't care. The producers/writers of the show have enough information to finish the entire series even if he died today so the tv viewer experience wouldn't change that much regardless

5th season - 1st half A Feast For Crows/1st half A Dance with Dragons
6th season - 2nd Half of AFFC/ADWD

he gotta finish the next one by 2016 so when they get around to the 7th and 8th season they can base it on that book-- since he says its going to be huge

and im guessing the 9th and 10th season will be based on his final book
