A Buckeye State Of Mind
EDIT:Ignore the poll:pachaha: The original comparison was gkmc vs MCHG. K. Dot was winning with over 90% of the votes. So everyone wanted reasonable doubt to replace MCHG:ehh: So I changed the thread instead of making another Jay comparison thread because there's already too many:huhldup: So just ignore the poll and just pick between rd or gkmc:lolbron:
Now that Jay's album has finally sunk in,let's compare it to kendrick's:ehh:
I knew everyone was gonna compare it to LIG,but I feel production wise and mainstream appeal, these two albums are more comparable.

So which album had better production? Subject matter? Which was better lyrically?

Yall know my answer to these questions already:youngsabo: so I'll wait a lil bit before answering:jawalrus:

:)
both were amazing bodies of work but k-dot had that breakthrough. the production was solid and the lyrics/flow were very impressive. i would go to in depth with one post tho.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
no..they were not "both" amazing bodies of work...Kendrick's album was an amazing body of work and I dont even think that's the best thing since sliced bread like everyone be tryna make it..but it is a tremendous effort tho...Jay's album is only ok for his standards...nothing amazing about it...and that's ok..not every listenable album that comes out has to be considered great..and I think that's where shyt gets fukked up these days...there's too much exaggeration...
