Hello,
Your project, Street Champion, has been modified in response to a notice of copyright infringement that we received from Capcom U.S.A., Inc. The notifier has alleged, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), that your project video is infringing on content that they own. You can find the notice of infringement attached below.
If you believe that your work has been modified by mistake or as a result of misidentification, you can submit a counter-notification under the DMCA. To do so, please email at least the following information to Kickstarter’s Copyright Agent (
copyright@kickstarter.com):
- a physical or electronic signature of the subscriber/user of the Services;
identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
- a statement made under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled; and
- the subscriber's name, address, telephone number, and a statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the subscriber's address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided notification under subsection (c)(1)(C) or an agent of such person.
You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with all of the aforementioned notice requirements, your notification or counter-notification may not be valid and that Kickstarter may ignore such incomplete or inaccurate notices without liability of any kind.
We will forward your counter-notification to the original notifier, and may restore your project video 10-14 business days after receiving and forwarding your counter-notification if we do not receive notification that the alleged copyright owner has filed legal action relating to the allegedly infringing material.
Please ONLY submit a counter-notification if you believe that you own the rights to the content on your project page. Under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing or was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability.
