i refuse to conform
lyrically ren is a head of most cats.

make sense, he grew up as youngin in the game learning from lyrical legends like Ice Cube and God MC DOC

yea bro i mean like mc ren was like second to ice cube in terms of lyricism in the group

his rhyme schemes were ridiculous he had dope punchlines and metaphors imo

on the second album nikkaz 4 life he carried them lyrically imo

So underappreciated It's criminal

real talk. Bugged out shyt is that NWA's members had VERY distinctive voices, along with other Ruthless artists like the DOC and Michel'le. Things coulda went very different if Eazy/Jerry did business differently. Imagine having a bunch of Ice Cube, Dre, Ren and non-accident DOC solo albums along with some Michel'le over some 90s R&B tracks.
