How Common Is It To Get Teeth Knocked Out In Combat Sports (Boxing/MMA/ETC)

How common is it really for someone to get their tooth knocked out?

What top fighters have gotten their teeth knocked out at some point?

I remember mark coleman had his two front teeth way loose and was pushing them out of his mouth after a pride fight (looking or the gif)



How common is it tho because i've been having issues wiht my teeth and they feel looser then they used too.

How do you minimize the chance?

Not that common from what ive seen. The people who are missing teeth are usually the people who REFUSE to wear a mouth piece. Its always one guy in every gym who refuses to wear his mouth piece, wear a cup or warm up properly...then when they get injured or chip a tooth they want the whole world to stop.

alright just playing, but h0w common is bad teeth in boxing? think about it they all seem to have perfect teeth, maybe there's a connection
