after which there will just a be a shytload of wars amongst the med sized to smaller countries globally for at least a decade. As countries die.. new countries are born.. and borders get redrawn

it will last longer,see, when you powerhouses have annihilated each other, the vacuum has to be filled.
we smaller countries that just sat back and watched the madness unfold,will now go at it.
this will signal the age of a long lasting guerrilla type warfare.
no one will truly be victorious unless one of us gets hold of nuclear weapon or two
and voila, whoever that is,is the new big dog!!
i am oversimplifying this,of course!!

LMAO, wars between great powers are done.

We wouldn't have had a WWII if had nukes.

You may have local skirmishes along contested borders (India/Pakistan). And we may continue to see large, powerful, nuclear powers bully smaller/weaker neighbors (Russia vs Ukraine/Georgia). But otherwise the world is too damn interconnected and no one is ready to risk nuclear fallout.
