When you call some one that, its a green light to disregard anything they have to say no matter how substantial it may be.

Both allows one to hate without disregard and without regret.

Democrats try to demonize Republicans by attacking their policies and scandals. Republicans simply make the name Democrats go back and turn it into a slur. It's much simpler and requires no intellect or thought.
