I lost my father 4 hours ago

He was in Africa for 2 years and caught something. my mother forced him to return last summer he refused all of our suggestions to get a check up.
I suggested he should get checked for cancer he refused my father was always hard headed.
Part of me felt like this was coming and accepted i just wished he listened to us.

They said he caught h pylori idk if he got it recently or decades but his health started deteriorating fast the last 2 years.
He was heavy smoker who had high cholesterol/blood pressure as well.

We fought alot even in the final hours but for all purpose I was in his life for half his life.
Of my siblings I spent the most the time around him whether he appreciated or not idk we disagreed alot.
