I think you put him in the 80s / 90s he'd end his career with 0 rings since no hall of famers back then woulda had the buddy buddy "if you can't beat em, join em" personality, and woulda left him on his own team.


This is pretty much fact... Jordan, Bird, Magic, Barkley etc etc all hated the decision when it happened.

I'm gonna actually defend the guy you choose to leave nameless and say no he definitely wouldn't of gone out like J-Mart. I think in today's league the leash is too short to be as aggressive as players of the 80s/90s and he's partly a product of that. But if he were put in that era then he'd probably adapt to the style of the era and still be successful.
