In thinking about what someone means as the genre as far as lyrics and perception off wax, I think that the best person that would rep our culture would be, as my favorite artist ever, I'm reluctant to say Jay-Z because he is the obviously easy answer, but I don't think you can go anywhere else but this answer. Adding everything up, when looking at the sum of his parts, compared to others, he stands above others.
