My sister and best friends girlfriend are both in nursing and they said the push is going to be for Nurse Practicioners. Nurse shortage will occur in 10 years because of baby boomers. 2 year degree would be short sighted.

I planned on getting that A.S in 2 years and use my employer to pay for me to get the BSN...my savings is planned for exactly only 2 years with no wiggle room...
