Still totally different situation. And I have no problem with it. You won't catch me bytching about shyt being unfair. All I ask for is those that did bytch about fairness and asterisk the last three years keep that same energy and we good.
If you never complained about KD going to the Warriors then you straight.
KD is the 10th highest paid athlete in the world. Guys like PG, Kahwi, and AD who don't make close to the amount KD does off the court have given up more money than that turning down the supermax, so I don't know why they think that will be huge factor in KD's decision.
Still totally different situation.
Ad and kawhi going to a losing team.
Kd went to a record setting team... say the lakers break the regular season record and then someone like harden goes over there, then that matches what the warriors/kd did.

This is why I have no issue with Barnes getting the reported deal from the Kings.

is such a bad exec I understand the circumstances of the teams they joined being different but the end result is the same. They're stacking the deck and weakening their competition in the process. For the record, I had zero problems with Bron going to Miami or KD going to Golden State.Still totally different situation.

Who gave up $50M with a bad Achilles?I think he was talking more about not taking any more discounts to help a team build or doing the short term deals, but finally maxing out on a contract. Similarly to how Bron took the discount in MIA, did short term deals in CLE, before maxing out in LA.
The players have shown that if they have the desire to play somewhere else, they will give up $50M+ if that's what it takes.
Nothing has really changed from before he hurt his achilles, all the teams that are looking to sign him will offer him a max dealWho gave up $50M with a bad Achilles?
Theyre offering him more than any other team can thoug . Just because it's not 200m doesnt mean they dont want himIf they never wanted to extend him then they should've traded him instead of just letting him walk for free.
