This was my one and only worry. Raps have had a whole season as their pitch and won a title while Magic aired out dirty laundry. I think it’s something we can iron out in this situation but it was definitely the one thing that could bite us. The good thing is Magic isn’t in the front office no more so no reason to believe things will be as combustible.
Yeah, Toronto's already proven in that regard and even the Clips are a united front at the top with Balmer, Logo, and Doc. Pelinka & Jeanie still have dirt on their hands from the nonsense these past 12 months (even with Magic exiting back into his ambassador role), that Rambis family shyt is weird, and Vogel doesn't hold any kind of weight during these discussions.
The Laker pitch has to be centered around the brand (clips will always be little brother), flexing with Bron & AD, and knowing that he'll have just as much power in the building as Klutch (full authority to dictate his load management).
