People on the east coast wouldnt really grasp these issues.

You have to also remember that black Americans situation regarding education and economics.

How are black Americans going to enter into mid to high wage jobs if they don't have the economic support nor the basic education?

Many black American men have been in prison. It is extremely hard to find work as a black ex con.

So where the heck are these black people suppose to work?

Further they suggest that anyone who wants to actually address the real issue is either a communist/socialist or they're trying to pander for illegal votes or both.

Somehow they have determined actually protecting workers is less American than setting up deportation forced and increased policing. As I've said time and time again in these threads, you can increase deportations without more aggressive policing and aggressive policing has never benefitted blacks in this country .


Regarding education, low level jobs that illegal immigrants are bringing in isn't enough money to even make a dent into paying for college. Let's not be dishonest. Further, based on the education data available proficiency seems to be the largest hurdle for blacks, not lack of income to afford college.

to me the corporations and the ones hiring these illegals are worse than the ppl that are just looking for a job. I am actually supportive of ppl that are trying to work, that are trying to provide for their families and are trying to do "the right thing". I don't think illegal workers are bad ppl at all. nor do I think it is absolutely necessary that they need to be deported. However, there needs to be better checks and balances to ensure that the ones that are trying to work are able to come and work, rather than just illegally hiring these ppl.

Hiring and bringing in illegal workers isn't good for ANYONE.

and the skilled and licensed worker would say legal immigration is more galling to them. at the lower unskilled wages you're getting welfare (and medicaid) to supplement your income. when you've invested in yourself (skills and licenses) your expectation is a comfortable middle class lifestyle and then you're being replaced by someone employers feel is "easier to work with" or "has a good attitude". employers love it because you get choice and that usually results in the best financial outcome for your business, but not necessarily for the citizens of your country.

because a little immigration is good and a lot of immigration is bad, america has to find the balance, right now we are on the "lot" side

but a good discussion about the right level of immigration cannot be had until illegal immigration has been curbed
