You have to admit, it's hard to have the same motivation for making music past your peak relevance when at your peak you were dictating, culture, slang, in demand for features and everyone wanted to hear what you had to say.
So for artist like TI, Jeezy, Fab, Snoop, Cam, Common etc
Are they better served sticking to the topics and sounds they know, while still trying to appeal to the ever changing tastemakers
Or should they try to craft a newer mature sound of rap and hopefully get older fans to take notice?
I personally think TI sounds like a clown trying to ride Thugga Wave but that songs bangs and makes more money than Jeezy "church in the streets"
