This is my issue with this "role"...if she is not an employee/presidential advisor/appointee....how the fukk they determine a need to know?:what:

So US govt. just issuing clearances just b/c ? :why:

There is already so much conflict of interest going on :mindblown:

How people and elected officials okay with this?? :mindblown:

Many Americans are complacent. Look at how they protested in South Korea and other countries where the President was forced to step down or concede. Americans just too blessed in life to really stand up to what's happening.

South Korea is a rich modern nation more civilized than america and have more advanced cities, because they are next door to North Korea people want to throw them in the same boat

not only the president choose to step down, but also met with the protestors and apologized to them

american are ignorant, disgusting people, trump is a reflection of what the country truly is

Most of South Korea's elderly live in poverty. Don't confuse being technically advanced with being rich like America. Sure they're doing well, but it is no comparison to America where the GDP per capita is twice that of South Korea. My point is that many Americans are doing well and feel no need to disrupt the chaos. But yes, I agree these cacs have no humiliation, sense of responsibility to the people, or any ounce of accountability

The poverty level of South Korea's elderly people is misleading because 1. it's in their tradition to support their parents so they give allowances back in cash which don't get reported in data 2. Universal health care so they have more discretionary spending power relative to their income level.

It all comes down to Education - South Koreans have absurdly high # of college graduates.
The country has many problems but at least the people are well educated and "woke".

They do have a deep-entrenched elite structure of conglomerates and until recently the top companies had a federation of sorts which on the surface voiced the opinions of "industry(main street/finance)" but on the low bribed govt officials and paid right-wing propaganda groups to protest on their behalf.
Samsung, which is responsible for like 15~20% of SK's GDP, was famous for having "legal scholarship" where they sponsored hundreds of top students from law school and wielded influences in every part of legal system from judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. At one point the chairman's cousin was one of the chief prosecutors and that's how they enjoyed Teflon status.

However, these deep connections and behind the scenes activities are getting exposed left and right nowadays and they actually arrested the vice chairman (de facto head) on corruption charges.
Also basically every presidential candidate for the upcoming election are promising a "purge" of the power elites - by appointing special prosecutors, banning of presidential pardon for conglomerate owners, raising corporate income tax, limiting circular shareholding, etc.
I have my doubts but at least it looks like SK is heading into right direction from outside looking in.

By the way, the ex-president didn't step down - she got impeached and forced out and is at the courthouse this very moment being prosecuted.

The plain folk of rural America that elected this moron are okay with any chicanery and fukkery that comes out of this administration because the people doing it are the kind of white people that poor white people think the system is holding them back from being: rich, having made it on their own with no handouts. Never mind this is some 3rd world regime shyt, never mind Ivanka 's only use is having been spat from Trump's loins and she is clearly using her father's office to build her shytty brand. These people are 19th century gilded age robber barons, plain and simple. The nerve of this heaux to try to spin this shyt like she's a moderating influence on her piece of shyt father. :hhh:
