Jay Z finally responded to online anchor Tomi Lahren's attack on Beyonce's halftime show and his criminal past ... and it's awesome.

Lahren's rant went viral when she called out Bey, saying ... "Your husband was a drug dealer for 14 years."

Jay Z was hanging out with podcaster Tax Stone when Tax decided to reference Tomi's comment.

Fair to say Jay is umm ... amused by Tomi's take on his history.
