give all these guys in the industry the time to expose themselves, they will
Same dude that basically said Michael Jackson is overrated. You know someone has racial animosity when they casually dismiss black genius or talent.
the art of dj'ing is beautiful.
Wait ... did he just re-create the "shook ones" beat using the sample and a record, then mix it into the actual record? Love it.
Anyway, this podcaster or whatever makes an argument, then reaches for WHATEVER HE CAN to try and maintain his position. I bet even he knows his claims are stupid (no different than all these "hot take" idiots on ESPN).
I just ignore these clowns. But a younger me would get mad, so I get it.
fukk Andrew as a Deejay Jeff is god level to me.
How does someone this ignorant and far from the culture even have a fuking platform?
Andrew is the reason I can never really listen to the show anymore. He's just too much a a damn CAC. The other dude Chris on there be having some good shyt to say, but he's a damn pushover.
He's a legend in music and TV
jazzy jeff is a legend and a real dj. cut from the same cloth as cats like jam master jay (rip), kid capri, red alert, premo. these new school mp3 turntablist shouldn't even fix their mouth to say anything about real djs or get fire smacked out their face.
One of the dopest moments of my life this summer - did an event in Philly with Jazzy Jeff, who featured Freeway.
Let me say that again. In Philly at a giant festival on the stage watching Jeff spin and then Freeway perform "What We Do is Wrong" (forgot actual name of song lol) IN PHILLY!!! Breh!!
Pretty much the reason why I stop listening to the podcast a long time ago.
He's become a lot more annoying and you get a strong sense that he purposely say things to get a rise out of people.
Went from playing devils advocate to plain ole what about white people/undermining whatever black struggle.
On top of that he was never really funny even when he was bearable listen to.
Jeff & DJ Scratch are my two favorite DJ's all time.
Jeff is an ABSOLUTE legend.
This was at at the Do Over at the Plateau I was there they had the beer garden and shyt out there....Free's my people so I went out to support but I was really there for Jazzy his sets never disappoint
Yessir the Do Over! I'm from D.C. not Philly so I was hype to see both lol. My man said he's seen Free do that 100x but could understand an out of towner experiencing it in the city for the first time lol
That Khazaar in the clip is REALLY annoying... Wowzers...
