You guys walked me through my Firefox installation about 5 years ago, but since I got a new computer, I need to go through the basics again. For example, if I keep getting bombarded by these pop ups, I'm gonna go fukking ballistic. How do I prevent pop ups and random tabs opening up again? I'm pretty sure it's an add on, but I cant recall which, or how to go about installing it. Also.. what else would work with it.. what should I cop in order to prevent viruses and whatnot? It's literally been a minute since I've had to do all of this. Any help would be appreciated family.

Also, your boy aint ballin ... I'm not no 6-7 figure earner like most on here .. :upsetfavre: .. so the more affordable, the better.

Oh and this is the laptop i copped.

17" laptop!?! 13-14" only for me personally. But yeah, AdBlock Plus. And you might as well install Microsoft Security Essentials, it's free and good enough for virus protection.

What is privacy badger?
It stops advertisers and other third-party trackers from secretly tracking where you go and what pages you look at on the web. If an advertiser seems to be tracking you across multiple websites without your permission, Privacy Badger automatically blocks that advertiser from loading any more content in your browser. To the advertiser, it's like you suddenly disappeared.

You gotta play around with a bit to get certain things to load properly for example you need the api.google.com on green to view YouTube videos...if you're savvy with cookies you can eat good off this.
