Kanyes T.L.O.P. release fiasco is why you can't fault people who pirate music.

Here you have a guy with one of the most loyal almost cult like followings that are lining up to give him money and he can't even keep to the date that HE set. Not only is he not keeping to it, he's apparently still adding things to an album that was supposedly done like a week ago like a high schooler pulling an all nighter on a project he had all semester to do and blaming another grown man for the hold up. He doesn't even respect the fans enough to take accountability for that. These y'all heroes? :dahell:

We not talking a free mixtape, we're talking an album that he expects people to pay for after blatantly disrespecting their time. We've seen push backs before but nothing like this because we live in the digital era. All you have to do is upload it to itunes/google/spotify which is a 5 minute process and then it's available to anyone who wants it. He wants people to have their money ready to buy something that he fukked up on his end. Kanye would rather have delay a whole album for a song then stick to his word that he gave his fans. That's highkey insulting and as the consumer, you kanye stans deserve better. Not much better, but a little better. Any artist who would pull something like this obviously doesn't want your hard earned money and doesn't care about you so no one would blame you for not giving it to them. You tried and they spit on you.

Disclaimer: Thecoli.com does not promote or advocate the illegal downloading. :whoa: Don't take this as a green light signal and get yourself gunned up and clapped quick.

Lol. I'm still gon gladly spend $10-12 on that and, days later, feel good about that purchase.

Yeah I'd rather have this album two days (LITERALLY TWO DAYS... TWO days) earlier, as he had promised, but dear God man ... It's two days.

I think ur priorities r a lil twisted if u would rather have him release an album he isn't satisfied with on time than vice versa

We are getting more tracks on the album though.....

looks like the same tracks that showed up on the different tracklists just all made it to one tracklist so these were tracks that were supposedly ready to go. Kanye let chance Deebo him into not keeping his word for a throwaway verse just sounds ridiculous.

Chance the rapper is holding up kanye wests album passed the release date - :why: You can't even say that out loud and not realize how ridiculous that sounds

Bro, didn't you see how inevitable it could possibly be that he wait until SNL?

10-plus million viewers? I don't blame him. That's gotta be 10x the audience he had for the Tidal broadcast. (EDITED for accuracy)

In short, I don't hold ANY hip-hop artists to their dates. We know better. Unfortunately.

(BUT WE ALL TAKE AN L FOR TRASH ASS CHANCE THE RAPPER EVIDENTLY HOLDING UP THIS PROJECT...)

He was satisfied enough to play it at Madison Square Garden though :sas1:

He made the release date, no one else. He's the one who set it in stone. He didn't have to do that. Must have been satisfied then :sas2:

A man who doesn't keep his word is no man at all. He been hanging with Bruce Jenner too much

I didn't see anything. I haven't watched terrestrial television in like 10 years, no idea about SNL.

This is a man with millions of fans who gave his word to his fans. And for him to chose to disregard that is wack to me. Same way he told nikkas everyone could cop his shoes and how it was going to be so diff from the way Nike was running it. This nikka don't have integrity with his fans.

The SNL spot is a big deal. Period.

I would be shocked, and pissed, if he didn't release this album to coincide with his obviously massive self-created promotional campaign. It'll be out by 1:30 a.m. E/T in my guess.

Or it'll be out Sunday.

If we don't have it by Sunday, then I feel the angst is justified. Until then, I'm not sweating over it.

In any case, he is feeding the fan base. OK so the album is a day or two late. Didn't he just bring back GOOD Friday? That makes fans happy. Didn't he return to Twitter after a long absence? But not only return, but return with some poignant (if not very raw--should have been viewed first by his publicist) thoughts? And didn't he also broadcast a concert for free that anyone with wifi could have accessed?
