Dog.....he's really playing well now. And I'd rather depend on his legs benefiting the Lakers future than Kobe's.

He still cant shoot free throws and has no post moves youre only going so far with him.Why not wait to spend the cash on someone more deserving

Where you goign building around Howard? his offensive game will never be good enough for him to be the go to guy on a title team
You don't need a dominant big man to win these days..and the fact that Houston has the best big is a plus.

Dog....centers don't grow on trees. I'm not waiting on something when I know I already have it., which the Lakers did.

The Lakers lived with Shaq not being able to hit free throws too....not calling him Shaq offensively, but Dwight has been to a Finals.

Shaq was also a dominant offensive force and collapsed defenses Howard does not,in this league you live and die with the guys you give maxes to and it betetr be the right guys between flaws in his game and his lack of killer instinct im not putting all my cards in the mdidle of the table for Howard im waiting

You have to construct a team carefully around Dwight, though. Personally I thought nash/kobe were a good combo for him, but the moron hates to Pick and Roll, even though the Pick and Roll has been used so successfully. He would have been great just cleaning up bricks and getting garbage points as well.

There's nothing wrong with being offensively limited, as long as you work around the problem. Dwight is still refusing to work around the problem and seems to insist on the 4 shooters approach. He should focus on defense and garbage points wherever he plays. If you give Dwight the ball with his back to the basket against a team with active wings, he will get stripped, period.

Dwight left because of our inept coach, Kobe not babying him, Kobe putting him in his place (same place the Rockets put him in) as a rebounder and defender, the LA media was too much for him, and so on and so on. I'm actually happy he is gone, I can't take his bytchy personality, he would've been GREAT to have this year but I honestly could care less for him.

Question, how exactly do you make it Dwight's team? Especially with Kobe having one of his best seasons? Hindsight is a mother, but give Dwight the reins last year would've been :snoop: It's would've been his team in 2 seasons.

Dwight Howard is not a franchise player though. No way I run Kobe outta town for a guy who pouts and complains as much as Dwight does.

Lets not forget that he was already complaining on the Rockets earlier this season. He just so happens to be surrounded by his most talented team he's ever been on, so the pressure isn't solely on his shoulders. He has Harden, Parsons, and Lin to take the scoring load and free up space for him in the post.

D-12 would be DYING in LA right now. He would be miserable bc he would receive all the blame and the team would be losing. Dwight Howard is an expensive sidekick to me.

I'd prefer Nikola Pekovic or Andre Drummond over Dwight Howard:manny:

your post cracks me up considering you knowing he'd be great for us right now.

That's my only focus though. :to:

What you call "run out of town" I'd call "gracefully ship off to another contender in return for picks to rebuild for our future." :mjpls:

Putting it so eloquently:wow:

Kobe first Lakers fans would run Dwight outta town then if that happened:russ:

I wouldve liked to have Dwight along WITH Kobe this season and I'm gonna always say that. If I had to pick one though, I would still go with Kobe:yeshrug:
