V is the best game in the series. That's of course for people who prefer to play, not watch cut scenes and then run through a corridor.

There's so much more soul in MGS3.

Off the strength of nostalgia, and the incredible dialogue I give the top spot to MGS1 followed closely by MGS3. 4 wasn't as bad as people made it seem. 2 was easily the weakest entry and V gives everyone mixed emotions because of what it could have been even though what we did get to play was incredible.
