Mob attacks white man in Detroit and steals his possessions. Might be charged as a hate crime.

It's probably not a hate crime, but then again if the colors were reversed they would be charged with a hate crime. So we all need to acknowledge the clear hypocrisy. We also have to acknowledge that as long as this kind of behavior happens in these neighborhoods it gives cacs another reason to have further hate for us.

A typical response would be to say that these are only the minority of blacks that act this way. Supposedly the media only focuses on the bad blacks and none of the good, thus skewing the perception of the state of black america.

Indeed, most blacks aren't as dysfunctional as the media may portray them to be. However, I think it is a GOOD thing that the media primarily focuses on the dredges of black america. The reason being is that even the normal or high achieving blacks for the most part refuse to address these sort of issues themselves. They would rather sweep it under the rug, or when they do address it, it is only in the context of being victims of the system.

Blacks are SCARED to address black issues publicly. This leads to everyone else thinking that black people have no problem with the dredges of their ranks.

Would you stop it. That car was going too fast to see that kid. There is absolutely no way the car could have avoided hitting him. Lets be reasonable here.
And the car shouldn't have been going that fast to begin with. The driver was reckless and he deserved the beatdown that he got.

by looking at the vid they'll determine the speed he was driving and the speed limit on that road then they'll come to the conclusion of whether he was reckless or not.
those kids need to learn how to cross roads and use intersections. in las vegas ppl jay walked to get hit then sue millionaires. they now have to pay fines for jaywalking.

i tip my hat to the white nicca if it were me in detroit i wouldn't be stopping. i've been to detroit rough side and seen how those niccas just hunt ppl during the day. i'd rather call the cops and get back there with the cops and pay my fine of living the scene than risk my life..

While it would be nice to be "objective" (Does that even exist in regards to racial matters?) here, the truth is that it wouldn't matter what the variables were here assuming the ethnicities were constant......I'd like to be "above it all" and say what a terrible tragedy this is...but all it takes is one look at the comments section to realize that there is no use trying to be "objective". This is another battle, and I know which side I'm on.

It doesn't matter if the guy was drunk, high, and going 80. It doesn't matter if the kid put on camouflage and waited to get hit. Doesn't matter if guy got out of his car and laughed because he ran over a black. Doesn't matter if the protestors chanted "die whitey die"....it doesn't fukking matter. Whites would have supported their own, we need to support our own.

Our race can't afford to be "fair and unbiased". That's why we constantly lose. Whites don't give a shyt and go for the throat every single time.

We have to win, and the only way to do that is to start protecting our perimeters more efficiently.

I'm sick of us playing the high-ground.

Black kids get shot up dead in the fukking streets like ANIMALS, televised trials, and NOTHING comes of it.

So why shed tears for this guy? What makes him different than a black teen?

I hope all the bruthas get away.

*Doesn't* mean that I have any gripes with the black nurse mind you. Would I want my own mother/wife/daughter/sister to pull some shyt like that? fukk no, stay outta shyt lady. But her actions were noble....I would have likely stood and watched him die....:yeshrug:[DOUBLEPOST=1397364558][/DOUBLEPOST]Something interesting to chew on : This situation seems somewhat similar to how the Crown Heights Riots started.

Dispute over money spent by Steven Utash's son at strip club
DETROIT (WJBK) - Witnesses at a strip club in Detroit say Joe Utash spent money from his father's fundraiser on Saturday.

Joe is the son of Steven Utash, the driver who was beaten while stopping to help a boy he had just hit with his vehicle. A fundraiser was held Friday and Saturday night for his family at Winners in Clinton Township.

Joe tells FOX 2's Taryn Asher he didn't receive any of the money from the fundraiser and, therefore, spent his own money at The Coliseum. He does admit to mentioning he was Steven's son.

He also says one of the dancers there stole hundreds of dollars from him.

"I let her hold onto my money ... she wanted to see that I had the money to pay for the dance," Joe says. So, he says he gave her about $400 which was "his money" that he "worked for."

But, according to Joe's family, he doesn't work. He's collecting unemployment and, according to the police report, Joe claimed he had a whole lot of cash.

In the report, Joe says he started with $1,500, spent $275 on lap dances and, when he asked her to hold onto the rest of the cash, she took off with it. The report also says the bouncer searched the dancer's locker and when he explained to Joe his money wasn't in there, Joe apparently threatened to blow the place up.

Joe denies ever making that threat, calling it "ridiculous."

When we asked Joe about the money again, he claims he lied to police and exaggerated about the amount of cash but denied everything else. He adds he got the money from cashing his unemployment check.

"I just went to out blow off steam, and I got robbed. If that [money] was from fundraiser wouldn't have called police," he says.

Asher reports the family is upset about this and says none of the money from the fundraiser is missing. Everything in the online account is also protected and is not accessible at this time.

Meanwhile, Utash's family says on social media Steven could be transferred out of the Intensive Care Unit and into a rehab center as early as Tuesday.
