My parents worked a lot while I was a teen. Therefore I had to watch my younger sister and make sure her hair was presentable. I learned how to braid hair and would braid my sister's hair cuz my mom didnt have much time to do it. I go off to a mostly white college and most of the black women were white washed. They didnt know how to braid dudes hair in the styles they wanted. This was back in 2001 when madd nikkaz were growing their hair and rockin cornrows like
