NFL Flex Scheduling starts week 11. Here are the games that should be flexed

Seems like Monday Night Football becomes more trash by week I know schedule is ahead of time,but how does MNF fall off every year

its been like that ever since they moved to ESPN

well cbs and fox would still know what games they have, just not the times. we know all nfc vs nfc is fox and afc vs afc is cbs. when nfc plays at afc its fox and when afc plays at nfc it's on cbs. you would factor in giants and jets not being allowed to play at the same time and the better matchup get's the later slot. the nfl negociated with CBS to give the game up, as the nfl will do something for them next year. Remember these networks PAY THE NFL to show their games on their stations. If they piss the nfl off they can easily move the games to ABC or another competing station once the contract is up.

The bolded given how they do the whole "NFL rules prohibit x game from being aired" makes that impossible.


and given that ABC and ESPN work hand in hand, that trump card isn't really there.
