Electronica, Rock, EDM, Soul, Folk, anything. Drop the albums and a track that is a good representation. Also why do you like the album/song? Why would a hip hop fan like it? I cant post vids cause I'm at work but I'll start off with two grunge (favourite non rap genre) classics:

Soundgarden - Superunknown :ahh: - My favourite track changes every listen but right now I'll say Let me Drown. I think its a rock song that most hip hop heads would like (as a lot of Grunge is). The drums from the beginning to hend hit hard as fukk. The riffs make you wanna learn how to play and tune electric guitar yourself. And the vocals from Cornell will bring out the beast and blues in you. This dude Chris Cornell has soul man :wow:. This album is a gym staple.

Other tracks you should sample to see if it interests you: 4th of July, Fell on Black Days, Limo Wreck.

Alice in Chains - Dirt :ohlawd: - My favourite track is probably Rooster on this one. I cant take credit though, that nikka @Capitol put me on. You may have been right friend...it takes precendence of Ten for the time being. They're damn near Bone Thugs n Harmony with Staley's harmonizing vocals. Much like Superunknown, the guitars blair and drums beat but the overall feel is more raw. The lyrics rhyme quite often too as opposed to the lead singers just saying drivel over the instruments.

Other tracks: Angry Chair, Would?, Dirt, Rain When I Die, Junkhead, fukk just go on youtube and type "Alice in Chains Dirt full album"

Drop your own albums. Especially in this day and age where rap is getting repetitive and declining no matter what you guys want to admit, it pays to take a break from it every now and then

Disclaimer: Please try to keep mainstream classics that EVERYBODY and their momma has heard out of the discussion. this is about people finding new flavour to listen to
