Now that all of the hype has died down, is it fair to say GTA V was a disappointment?

I enjoyed it. It was a good sandbox with a god gta like story. I thought tervor was a good character and I enjoyed the switching between each character.

I don't have Wi Fi at the moment so I can't play the on line but the story mode itself was way too short.

It was a good game and I liked a lot of things about it but I was disappointed by its shortness and lack of depth.

In all honesty, the story was just ok. The online is what makes it worth $60. Too bad they patched all the glitches last night

For what they've could have done with the three sides of the story angle and the size of the city, yes it was a disappointment. But it was still one of the best games of the year and gen tho :yeshrug: RDR >>> GTA 5 tho.

Nope, not at all. Still haven't finished it yet though and barely played online. Otherwise, it's one of the best GTAs yet on nearly all fronts. They could learn some improvements in some areas from their contemparies/competition (like Sleeping Dogs car management and hand-to-hand fighting mechanics). They still obviously the king at this though and the game still deserves its praise and hardly overrated.

Nope. I thought it was great. My only complaint is that there should've been more single player missions. Instead of them being reserved for the multiplayer. I wanted a prison break mission and at least a army base mission.

There was one. When you had to steal that army helicopter.

But like I said, what disappointed me was the single player being so short, and lacking so much depth. I mean with three different players we could have had a game as long as San Andreas was. That's what I was expecting when I 1st bought the game.
