Top Boy is the most overrated show I've ever seen. I watched the NFTR interview where Asher said there were talks about Drake funding it, so I'm happy to see these nikkas come up. But comparing this shyt to The Wire is unbelievable.

Kano is my favourite UK MC ever but he can't act for shyt :mjlol:

Nonsense post. The critical acclaim speaks for itself. The Wire is just a lazy comparison for me to give people an idea it's a UK street life/ drug game show with an array of characters etc

Show was ok but some of it moved way too slow, like the shyt with ol' boys moms.

But I still watched till the end so it's pretty good.

I like the way drake exposes African, Canadian and UK artists and culture to his fans, that's dope.

Embracing different cultures, brings in new fans, business-wise, rappers should learn from it imo.

One reason I fukk with him. Very open minded culturally

A lot of people in the UK needed Drake to consign to realise Grime was still something special smh

Canadians are quite open-minded musically though so its no surprise, I remember blade brown having alot of fans in canada on his youtube comments.

Music world is getting global, have to be up on trends all across the black diaspora if you want to be on top of things in the industry

Why would I watch a street movie depicting a community of people that ain't street? Yaw UK nikkaz stay frontin' just like Canadians. Yaw not built for speed yaw lames. Stop trying to be like us and be the suburbanites that you really are.

tbh in UK people are trying to make money rather than be gangsters. Hustling gets you more ratings than being a badman & its better that way imo.
