Peterson is decent on the backfoot, but he's not capable of clearly winning rds that way against opponents as good as him or better. That shyt works against C level cats, but whenever PED did that shyt against better opponents he struggles to be effective offensively.
The biggest problem with PED is his boxing IQ. Like he has bad strategies for his fights. He ran and gave up too much ground from Matthysse and got clipped. Zab and Alexander already gave you the lateral movement blueprint and he fukks that up. He takes too long to get started against Swift. It's like he struggles to realize his strengths. His best moments come from pressuring but its like he doesn't know when to apply it. Whenever he pressured cats behind the jab and came forward, he looked good. Plus the body work.
Whenever he threw a lead right at Spence he got through, but he never did anything after that and would just cover up allowing Spence to get going offensively.
